Guide
To help you determine the best size bag for your gift, we’ve used the following sizes for these items:
Jewel: (6" x 9") Jewelry, iPods, PDAs, cell phones, small toys like card decks, wallets, belts, rolled ties, Swiss army knives, candles, and gourmet jams
Small: (10” x 12”) DVDs or videos, video and computer games, unboxed T-shirt's and lightweight clothing, baseball caps, paperbacks, photo albums, small toys
Medium: (14" x 20") Sweaters and sweatshirts, hardback books, medium toys, soccer or basketballs
Large: (20" x 26") Boxed clothing, coats, bed and bath linens, stuffed animals, square board games, small appliances
Extra large: (26" x 38") Large toys, medium appliances
Wine/Slim: (7" x 14") Bottled items including wine and liquors, olive oils, ties in tie boxes, kitchen utensils, back scrubber, dog bones, Barbie dolls, action figures, narrow vases
Price Guide
Lagniappe’s gift bags are available at a variety of price points, reflecting not only the different sizes, but the difference in value as well. Our organic cotton bags are slightly higher in price than most of our design lines, due to the added value of reduced pesticide use and low impact dyes improving the longer term impact on your family and the environment. The Redux bags are slightly lower in price because they are made from recycled materials – old gift bags, secondhand clothing, or remnants that would otherwise be headed to landfill. While the reuse of the materials is good for the environment, these gift bags are actually more labor intensive to manufacture so the cost savings are only minimal.
